What a week!

Saturday, May 28, 2011

I've been so busy this week! I didn't have time to shop at all this week. Luckily, I have the whole weekend to organize my coupon binder and back to shopping again!

My hubby and I finally found a nice place in California and we are pretty excited. It's a nice 1 bedroom apartment, but the only thing that sucks is that it doesn't have washer and dryer in the unit.

The weather has been hot all week. I'm so glad it is raining right now...so calm and relaxing.

That's all for now. Time to go clean and organize!

What's YOUR song?

Thursday, May 26, 2011

Rancid! I chose this song just because of the title haha.  The weather has been crazy hot! AND I do love this band.

MilSpouse Friday Fill-In

Friday, May 20, 2011

What is one of the things you always do special when your husband returns from a deployment?
I cook him his favorite Colombian dishes.

What do you do to help your spouse and/or yourself re-adjust after a deployment or long separation?
We just spend lots of time together and make sure we are communicating about everything.  He's really helpful around the house and I just make sure that he is comfortable.

Are you a crazy coupon clipper (I’m becoming one, so share your secrets with me)?
Yes, but not that crazy.  I'm so happy to know that I am saving hundreds on items we need and groceries.

What’s your most treasured memory of you and your spouse (not counting your wedding – that’s a given)?
First homecoming! Even though I was probably one of the last person to see their sailor come off the ship, I was just soo happy and since the pier was practically empty, I was able to easily run up to him.

If you could live anywhere overseas, what would you pick and why?
Italy! There's just so many places I want to visit there.

Five Question Friday

Do you and your spouse go to bed at the same time?
Yes, 99% of the time.  The 1% is usually when he is working out in the evening and has too much energy to sleep so he stays up late.

A question for the ladies...What kind of facial hair do you like on your man?
Well, when I first met my husband he had a mustache and a goatee.  I liked it. Now I can't imagine him with it  anymore.

What's the worst vacation you've ever taken?
Visiting relatives in Modesto, CA.  Never really got along with them.

What's the first-ever blog you followed?

Do you enjoy amusement parks?
Yes! I love the food, roller coasters...and did I mention the food? :)
