12 Weeks pregnant

Tuesday, December 6, 2011

I am a little over12 weeks and I'm feeling good... a little bit of round ligament pains here and there and still having morning sickness, but I am almost done with my 1st trimester. YAY! Hopefully the morning sickness goes away.

I've been listening to my baby's heartbeat almost every day and it's the most amazing sound ever!

10 Weeks Pregnant.

Sunday, November 20, 2011

Today I am about 10 weeks 2 days pregnant.  My baby is now considered a FETUS!

"He's swallowing fluid and kicking up a storm. Vital organs — including his kidneys, intestines, brain, and liver (now making red blood cells in place of the disappearing yolk sac) — are in place and starting to function, though they'll continue to develop throughout your pregnancy."

Anything new going on with my body? - Well yes, I have this map on my chest now.  The veins are criss-crossing from one side to the other and my boobs are very sore.  I am breaking out like if I'm going through puberty again.  Thanks hormones!  My morning sickness is still here...comes and go.  But slowly getting better I think. I know Turkey day is coming up this week, and I am hoping I can eat and keep it down.  Oh yeah, ginger ale is a miracle, it really does help with my nauseusness.  Nurse say's I need to take protein shakes to gain a little more weight because I lost about .5 pounds since my last prenatal visit.

Thats all for now!

Update.

Thursday, November 3, 2011

Ok so I've been really bad at blogging and posting up my shopping deals lately.  But it's pretty tough when you're pregnant, and its my first pregnancy, this morning sickness is killing me.

Anyways, I am 8 weeks today! Woohoo. So exciting!

I figure I will be writing more about my trips and about my pregnancy from now on. Sooo... keep coming back for more updates!

 :)

Wordless Wednesday.

Home sweet home!

Tuesday, June 21, 2011

I am finally home from a little vacation to Atlanta, GA with the hubby.  It was a long week, and I am very glad to be home.

I was able to coupon down there, but I didn't get much at all.  I gave my father in law some toothpaste that I had gotten for free woohoo.  Anyways, not much to say but I plan to get this blog up and running soon...

It's Thursday again...

Thursday, June 9, 2011

You know what that means... it's time to link up 'What's your song.' My song of the week is Los Gatos Locos 'Hunting Humans.'  I have an obsession with zombies.
If I had a chance to be in a zombie movie, I'd do it in a heart beat!
You most likely have not heard of the song before or the band.... or these kind of music. So enjoy hearing something different! This is PSYCHOBILLY.

What a week!

Saturday, May 28, 2011

I've been so busy this week! I didn't have time to shop at all this week. Luckily, I have the whole weekend to organize my coupon binder and back to shopping again!

My hubby and I finally found a nice place in California and we are pretty excited. It's a nice 1 bedroom apartment, but the only thing that sucks is that it doesn't have washer and dryer in the unit.

The weather has been hot all week. I'm so glad it is raining right now...so calm and relaxing.

That's all for now. Time to go clean and organize!

What's YOUR song?

Thursday, May 26, 2011

Rancid! I chose this song just because of the title haha.  The weather has been crazy hot! AND I do love this band.

MilSpouse Friday Fill-In

Friday, May 20, 2011

What is one of the things you always do special when your husband returns from a deployment?
I cook him his favorite Colombian dishes.

What do you do to help your spouse and/or yourself re-adjust after a deployment or long separation?
We just spend lots of time together and make sure we are communicating about everything.  He's really helpful around the house and I just make sure that he is comfortable.

Are you a crazy coupon clipper (I’m becoming one, so share your secrets with me)?
Yes, but not that crazy.  I'm so happy to know that I am saving hundreds on items we need and groceries.

What’s your most treasured memory of you and your spouse (not counting your wedding – that’s a given)?
First homecoming! Even though I was probably one of the last person to see their sailor come off the ship, I was just soo happy and since the pier was practically empty, I was able to easily run up to him.

If you could live anywhere overseas, what would you pick and why?
Italy! There's just so many places I want to visit there.

Five Question Friday

Do you and your spouse go to bed at the same time?
Yes, 99% of the time.  The 1% is usually when he is working out in the evening and has too much energy to sleep so he stays up late.

A question for the ladies...What kind of facial hair do you like on your man?
Well, when I first met my husband he had a mustache and a goatee.  I liked it. Now I can't imagine him with it  anymore.

What's the worst vacation you've ever taken?
Visiting relatives in Modesto, CA.  Never really got along with them.

What's the first-ever blog you followed?

Do you enjoy amusement parks?
Yes! I love the food, roller coasters...and did I mention the food? :)
